On the eve of Ethiopian Christmas. The center established 27 years ago has served as refuge to more than 200 children without caretakers. Mother Zewditu is currently raising 40 children within the center and providing support to 35 outside the center.
Despite a recent fire that destroyed part of the establishment, the center continues its care taking service. The Prime Minister and First Lady gifted the children with school supplies, blankets and bedsheets. The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of Mother Zewditu and called upon all to cultivate the practice of giving and sharing what we have everyday.
He also encouraged various stakeholders to support Mother Zewditu fulfill the needs of the center so she can help more children.
